Sponsorship Admission to Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) for 2018-19
Dear friends, alumni & well-wishers,
We are happy to inform you that Mrs. Brenda Robinson and her daughter Bobbie Jo have come forward to fully sponsor 15 (fifteen) Seventh-day Adventist students to do their Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) this year also, at Lowry Memorial College.
D.El.Ed. is a two-year diploma program, fully recognized by NCTE, New Delhi and Govt. of Karnataka, this diploma is accepted all over the world to teach in any elementary school up to 7th grade/std. Lowry has been offering this program from the past several years, and the teachers who were trained at Lowry are working all over India and even abroad.
The actual cost involved for this program is ₹ 2,00,000.00 (INR two Lakhs) for 2 years per student. This includes tuition, hostel, food and other miscellaneous expenses except for books and stationaries etc.
The student need not pay anything for the entire course.
Mrs. Brenda Robinson has agreed to completely sponsor the entire amount for 15 students. This will be given on first come first serve basis.

Note: Admissions are granted for D.El.Ed program even for non-sponsored students, subject to their meeting of the eligibility criteria and provided they pay the following fees per year:
Tuition Fees – ₹ 40,000.00
Miscellaneous – ₹ 5,000.00
Boarding/Hostel – ₹ 52,500.00
Total – ₹ 97,500.00
Classes will commence from July 2, 2018

- Service Obligation/Bond
Candidate should have passed PUC/ISC/+2 with min 50% marks After completing the course, the candidate is required to serve a minimum of 3 years in any of the SDA institutions in Southern Asia Division. To that extent, the candidate will be required to sign a service bond. During the bond period, the candidate will be paid salary and allowances as per the norms of the employer.
